Astryd Farah's workshops are strongly based in technique and great attention to detail, her personality is warm and easy. She is a 'don't miss' experience! Astryd passes on her knowledge by teaching precise, defined technique as the vehicle to express the emotional aspects of the music.
Astryd spends half her time in Egypt and half in the U. S. so we are very lucky to have her come and teach for 6 hours.

Sean will be teaching beginning Doumbec and Drum technique on Saturday January 17, 2009.
Sean began performing at age eleven for his mother, Tatika. He attended seminars with Ibrahim Turmen 0f The Sultans and in recent years he has studied with Susu Pampanin, Reda Darwish and Amir Noum Cheade.
After twenty-six years of drumming, He is now the leader of Wind and Fingers, a Middle Eastern Performance band.
Sean says he strives to keep his style in the Middle Eastern roots that he was taught rather than taking on American influence.
