Angelika is a renowned Middle Eastern dance artist who has been presented in Europe, Africa, Asia, and throughout North America. She is currently on the dance faculties of three Southern California colleges where she teaches accredited classes in Middle Eastern dance. She has sponsored dance study tours to the Near and Middle East – most recently to Egypt in the summer of 2009 where she also taught and performed at the prestigious dance festival, Ahlan Wa Sahlan. She has produced and directed numerous world dance concerts; and co-sponsored two international conferences on Middle Eastern dance at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California. She lectures at libraries and colleges and is featured on videos, DVD’s and in print media. Her enthusiastic and culturally informative teaching style makes her a sought-after master instructor who is known for creating a learning environment that is fun as well as challenging. She trains and coaches many of today’s new belly dance stars and also directs and choreographs for her award-winning company, The Angelika Nemeth Dance Ensemble (ANDE). Known for her dynamic stage presence, she blends traditional and current Middle Eastern dance styles into a passionate “must-see” performing experience. Her artistic legacy has profoundly influenced contemporary Middle Eastern dance, especially in her home base of Southern California. She has certificates in Dance and Theatre Arts, and holds a BS degree in Education and an MA in Psychology specializing in the Transformational Arts.

"Journey through Egypt - 1" Intensive Workshop weekend with Certification JtE-1 presents an overview of the Dance Zones of Egypt with attention paid to dance steps and movement, posture and costume recognition, dance zone geographical location, historical consideration and cultural diffusion. Multi-media approach includes learning through viewing films, lecture, study materials, trying on costumes, and experiencing the dance. 20-Hour Intensive Workshop includes dance and ritual movement of Cairo, Nubia, Ghawazee, Delta, Suez Canal, Bedouin groups, Siwa, Saidi region, and pan-Egyptian Zeffah, Zar and others.
